Britian Whitley
Britian began his electrical journey in 2004, working with Tesla Electric. In 2005, he began his dream job and was hired working as a fire fighter for the City of Sandpoint. Britian finished his apprenticeship with Fogg Electric and continued working full-time as a Fireman. To make 2020 more of an interesting year, Britian became a Master Electrician and opened Backcountry Electric .

Allison Whitley
Allison works in the background at BCE, she assists with billing and job appointments, along with bookkeeping & delivering parts to job-sites, Allison is an EWU college grad that enjoys hiking, running, & snow skiing. Allison is mom to two little ones, Sawyer and Rocco, and dog-mom to their black lab, Sonny.
Master Electrician
Jory Prather
Originally from Wisconsin, Jory started his electrical career after graduating high school in 2007. Shortly after moving to Colorado for his love of snowboarding, he gained his Journeyman license in 2014, followed by his Master license in 2020. Continuing to follow his love for adventure and the outdoors, Jory and his wife along with their two dogs found Sandpoint in 2022. When not at work, you can find him either on a board or 2 wheels ripping down the mountain and Jeeping to an offgrid campsite somewhere in the woods.
Journeyman Electrician
Eric Schicho
Eric grew up snowboarding and sailing in the finger lakes region of Upstate New York. A passion for self-sufficiency and the off-grid lifestyle brought him, his girlfriend, and thier 2 dogs to Sandpoint in February of 2019. He began his electrical apprenticeship in November 2019 installing micro-hydro and solar power generation systems for remote properties around the Inland Northwest; passing his Journeyman exam in June 2023. Outside of work you can find him enjoying the hike up a mountain, the ride down a mountain, or spending time on the abundant lakes and rivers of North Idaho!

Aaron Vahrenwald
Aaron thrives in the close-knit environment of a small town, where being a part of the community is a source of joy and inspiration. When not at work, Aaron enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including water skiing, snow skiing, hiking, and simply being outside. Whether on the water, the slopes, or a mountain trail, Aaron loves exploring the great outdoors and making the most of every season.
